Arrival/Departure point: Harry's Shack, Portstewart Strand
The North Coast contains some wonderful locations for landscape photography, all easily accessible and relatively close together. Depending on the weather and tides, we'll be visiting three locations such as Portstewart Strand, Ballintoy, Whitemark Bay and Downhill beach.

Travel to and from the North Coast and transport between locations on the day
Insurance
Other meals and activities not included above.
Equipment needed:
Digital SLR or Mirrorless camera with manual controls
Tripod, ideally with ballhead
Graduated neutral density filters are recommended
Wellington boots
Warm and waterproof clothing
Fitness level: Low
We will be driving to all locations and parking close by, but will typically be walking for up to 10 minutes along beaches and coastal paths, with a few short rocky stretches. If you have an average level of walking fitness, then this should all be straightforward.
Sample Itinerary:
We will be out photographing from mid morning until sunset.
A typical day will consist of the following.
11.00am – 12.00pm meet for coffee and discus the plans for the day and what makes a good landscape photograph.
12.00am – 2.30pm Photographing at our first location (including short lunch break)
2.30pm to 4.30pm We move to our second location along the coast.
4.30pm – 7pm. Our final location for a (hopefully!) sunset opportunity.
