Bio

John is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Photographic Society. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography and a Fellow of the Irish Photographic Federation.

His portfolio encompasses a diverse range of subjects, from ethereal landscapes bathed in soft light to aerial abstract images that evoke profound emotion, increasingly shot from above. Through his lens, John strives to reveal the inherent poetry found in everyday scenes, inviting viewers to pause and contemplate the world around them.

John has always had a fascination with nature, especially the around the coast, and he is compelled to capture and share what he feels are special and unique moments, in the process creating an image that hopefully tells a story or leaves an impression on the viewer.

With a keen eye for composition, light, and texture, John meticulously crafts each image to convey a sense of timeless elegance. Whether exploring the intricate details of nature or the nuanced expressions of human experience, his photography seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and connection.

As a professional speaker and presenter, John uses his many years of experience to communicate the ideas of art, vision and the creative process. He is available to book for your conference, event or photographic club.
